  • Founder & Principal

    Colin Greene is Atmosphere’s Founder and Principal. Previously, he served as the Head of Academic Program at Link Community School in Newark from 2011 to 2013. In that role, he oversaw curriculum design, instructional leadership, data systems, professional development, teacher evaluation, and all other academic operations of the school. Prior to joining Link, Mr. Greene was Director of Curriculum and Instruction with Sponsors for Educational Opportunity where he developed original programming and curriculum, hired qualified instructors, and managed successful implementation and quality control. Mr. Greene holds a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Fordham University and a Master of Arts in Teaching of English from Teachers College, Columbia University. He is New York State certified as a school district leader, a school building leader, and an English teacher.

    Nethaneel Cleary is Atmosphere’s Director of Data and Asessment. Previously, he served as the Data and Media Specialist and After School Supervisor at PS 18 and the Community Learning School in Bronx School District 7. Mr. Cleary holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Elementary Education. He is New York State certified as a elementary education teacher, a school building leader, and a school district leader. Earlier in his career, Mr. Cleary was a 6th Grade Math/Science Teacher and New Teacher Mentor at Soundview Academy for Scholarship and Culture in Bronx District 8 as well as a 6-8 Grade Math Teacher and Coach at MS 3 (Raul Julia School) in Bronx District 10.

    Elizabeth Nash is Atmosphere’s Director of Student Learning. Ms. Nash holds a Master of Science in Adolescent Special Education and Literacy from Iona College and a Bachelor of Arts in Adolescent Education and Social Studies. She is New York State certified as a special education teacher, a social studies teacher, a literacy teacher, and an adolescent education teacher. Previously, Ms. Nash taught at Iona College, Mamaroneck High School, Iona Preparatory School, and The School of Immaculate Conception.

    Benjamin Pah is Atmosphere Academy's Director of Operations. Previously, he has worked as a Vice Principal at Coney Island Prep and English teacher at Bronx High School for Law and Community Service. As a Vice Principal, he coached teachers, guided students, and partnered with families. As a teacher, he taught literacy, raised test scores, and facilitated career training. Benjamin holds a MS in Educational Leadership from Fordham University and a BA in English Education from NYU. He is NYS Certified as a School Building leader and English teacher. Overall, Ben's vision is to guide students to work as hard as possible to achieve the careers of their dreams to uplift their families and communities.

  • Director of School Life

    Christian Roman is Atmosphere’s Director of School Life. Previously, he has served as the Head Dean at Health, Education, and Research Occupations (HERO) High School and Dean of Students at Banana Kelly High School in the South Bronx. In these roles, Mr. Roman worked to provide young people with the discipline, guidance, cultural enrichment, and social-emotional development they needed to realize their full potential. Mr. Roman has also served as a Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coordinator at Unitas Therapeutic Community, where he honed his counseling and management skills. Mr. Roman hired, trained, and maintained a staff of approximately 40 teen counselors and employees. He also facilitated seminars on 6-step conflict resolution that enforced the principle of peaceful problem solving. Mr. Roman holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from St. John’s University. Growing up in the South Bronx, Mr. Roman developed an undeniable passion for and pride in the people of his neighborhood. Mr. Roman has translated this passion into daily service and dedicated his studies and career to elevating, inspiring, counseling, and advocating for the community in which he still lives and works. Mr. Roman also serves his community through spiritual guidance by dedicating his free time to working as a religious instructor and assistant director of a youth group at St. Athanasius Parish. Each day, Mr. Roman works closer and closer to his goal of uniting and uplifting the people of the South Bronx.

    Jane Tulley is Atmosphere's Director of Curriculum and Instruction. She is responsible for all Atmosphere teachers, instructional initiatives and policies, and curricular decisions and content. Ms. Tulley holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from New York University, a Master of Arts in English Education from City College of New York, and a Master of Science in School Building Leadership from Mercy College. She is New York State certified as an English teacher and a school building leader. Previously, she was Director of Teacher Leadership at Bronx Lighthouse Charter School. Prior to that, she was a Department Leader and English Teacher at Williamsburg Charter High School.

    Alyssa Garcia is Atmosphere's Grade Level Coordinator for Grade 7. She oversees all 7th grade programming, initiatives, and activities. Ms. Garcia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and English Language Arts from Hunter College, a Master of Science in Elementary Education from Lehman College, and Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from the College of Saint Rose. She is New York State certified as a teacher, school building leader, and school district leader. Previously, she was Director of School Culture at Bronx Lighthouse Charter School. Prior to that, she taught in the DOE and at Harriet Tubman Charter School.

    Kendria Griffith is Atmosphere’s Math Coordinator and Math Teacher. She serves as the head of the Math department and teaches Math Application, Math Foundations, and Math Achievement. She works collaboratively with the Principal and administration to provide active leadership for all math teachers and specialists within the math department. Ms. Griffith is NYS certified and holds a M.S.E. in Educational Leadership, Bachelors in Elementary Education, and an additional 24 credits towards her Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership. Previously, Ms. Griffith served asHead of the Math Department for grades 6-8 at NYC Department of Education and taught math to grades 6th & 7th including a French/Dual language class.

    Mr. William Daley is Atmosphere's Social Worker, 6th Grade Apprentice Dean and Physical Education Apprentice. His goal is to empower and support students through counseling and development of their social-emotional skills, student skills, life skills and promotion of health and fitness skills. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Management from Utica College and a Masters Degree in Social Work from Lehman College. HIs previous experiece entails high school guidance counseling/coaching, couseling troubled/displaced youth in residential treatment and coordinating an nutritional program for child care providers.

Ms. Prag holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesleyan University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wesleyan University. She is New York State certified as a school social worker and New Jersey State certified as a elementary teacher and a business/finance/law teacher. Previously, Ms. Prag served as Director of Youth Development and as Director of Partnerships with the NYCDOE District 79 Alternative Schools and Programs. Earlier in her career, she taught at Washington Academy in Cedar Grove (NJ) and John F. Kennedy High School in Patterson (NJ) as well as working as a therapist and counselor with various agencies.

Ms. Reyes is the Head Coach of the girl's volleyball, basketball and softball team. Previously, Mr Rivera worked for over 21 years with Boys & Girls Clubs of America serving in many roles from youth counselor to Program Director within the organization.
